In the Food Store you will find a Mystery Box Cake, hopefully your pet will not get confused and try and open it, as that could get messy! Also, for all poo fans, this week you can buy edible poo!

And the last surprise in the food store this week is a practical joke to send to your friends! It is definitely a delicious gift, but watch out if it comes flying your way!

The Clothes Store has some disguises so that no pet will be able to recognise each other this April Fools!

The fun continues in the Luxury Store with Felicity sourcing Cyclops Couches from Pampered Pets Inc.

The Furniture Store gets into the spirit with these new arrivals!

There is more to Pet Society this week than jokes though, spring is in the air!

Preston is the pet to talk to when it comes to spring, with all these wonderful additions to the Furniture Store!

Obviously a spring picnic would not be complete without a picnic mat and clear blue sky, so Grumble brings these to you in the D.I.Y. Store!

Lily loves the spring season! So head to the Clothes Store to purchase this cute hat and dress!

The Clothes Store has some very cute slippers this week, plus a few other items that are definitely worth stopping by to see Lily about!

In case your pet is craving take away, the Food Store introduces the Cheeseburger and Hot Dog! Make sure you eat them before Truffles does!

Hello all!

Now, there’s bad news and good news. The bad news is that jukeboxes and luscious lips loungers will soon be taken off the shelves. Unfortunately in these difficult times our supplier, Pet Party Products Inc. has gone out of business, and after we’ve sold the the last shipment of jukeboxes and loungers, they will be discontinued.

The good news is that we’ve been able to locate another supplier, Pampered Pets Inc., who not only stock a larger range of jukeboxes and loungers — they’re also cheaper!

Of course, if you’ve always wanted a jukebox or luscious lips lounger then now would be the time to buy — they won’t be around much longer!

Hey Pet Society fans! The latest round of mysterious items has just been hidden in mystery boxes, so sign on to Pet Society via either Facebook or MySpace now to search for them! (If you are currently playing, remember that you will need to save and quit and then reload to have a chance of finding these items!) We are not going to tell you exactly what the items are quite yet, but here are some clues:

• Crafted from only the finest paper, your pet will love wearing this! (Blue Mystery Box)
• A very cute young creature from the ocean! (Golden Mystery Box)
• These could be useful for any pets that have had their vision affected by wearing the Swirl Goggles for too long! (Golden Mystery Box)

Hey Pet Society fans! The new game updates and weekly item release have just gone live, so sign on to Pet Society via either Facebook or MySpace now to check out all the latest and greatest changes!

Two new stores have been introduced to the Pet Society town; firstly we have the Gadget Store:

The Gadget Store is where you can find kitchen appliances, the latest technology including mobile phones and laptops, and a few other items including the Playfish Clock and Pinwheel! E.M.I.L.I.A, the Gadget shop keeper, will be more than happy to assist with any of these needs (please excuse the *bleep* noises)! You can find out more about E.M.I.L.I.A by visiting the neighborhood page.

And secondly, there is the Mystery Store:

The Mystery Store is the new home of Mystery Boxes! The shop keeper is as mysterious as the items in his shop though, no one knows his real name, so we just refer to him as “?”! You can read more about “?”, even though he will still remain a mystery, on the neighborhood page.

The Mystery Store is about more than just Mystery Boxes though! When you enter you will see the Mystery Egg Vending Machine!

When you select the Mystery Egg Vending Machine it will ask you if you would like to buy a Toy Mystery Egg. A Toy Mystery Egg can be placed on the floor by your pet, and your pet will ‘open’ it, similar to a Mystery Box. Inside your Toy Mystery Egg you will find either a toy or a scene! The toys from Toy Mystery Eggs are different to the other toys in the game, instead of your pet picking them up, carrying them around, and giggling, they are designed to work with the scenes (although they can just be placed on the floor, or a shelf, etc. as well). Each scene has a place for four specific toys, and animates. The scene does not require the toys to animate, however, the toys will only animate if placed on their matching scene! Hence, the animation will only be complete with all four matching toys on their specific scene. Please note that you need to click the scene to start or stop the animation!

There is one more thing you need to know about Toy Mystery Eggs and the toys and scenes that can be found in them, which is that the toys and scenes cannot be gifted! They are collectable items which you can only find for yourself!

Moving on to the weekly item release! Remember that any items labelled This Week’s Special (TWS) will be removed from stores at midnight GMT on Monday the 23^rd of March, but may be available again at some point in the future.

Last Monday we introduced the first of our St. Patrick’s Day items, today we are bringing you even more, to ensure your pet celebrates in style this March 17^th!

The D.I.Y. Store is sure to impress this week with the Simple White Doorstep, which not only is great as a doorstep, but will be very useful to all of our creative users out there, who love making new things we would not have even imagined!

In case your pet prefers to travel the universe wearing black, this week the Black Galactic Helmet and Visor are new to the Clothes Store! Plus Lily introduces her latest attempt to conquer the pet fashion world with the White Skirt with Denim Jacket.

Due to some new game updates scheduled to be released on Monday the 16th of March, 2009, we will be delaying the weekly item release on this day. It is expected that the weekly item release will occur sometime between 8am and 10am GMT on Monday the 16th. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Pet Society has just launched versions in German, French, Spanish and Italian! So if you speak one of these languages, sign on to Pet Society in either Facebook or MySpace now and look for the language button in the top right hand corner, select that, and then choose your language!
