Brush with Death!

Hey Pet Society fans! Halloween is almost upon us and pets across the village are celebrating, and dressing up almost unrecognisable! Sirius loves being dressed as Death, pets run away in shock when she comes near, it really gives her the giggles!

So with the time for new mysterious items fast approaching, Sirius, or her skeleton draped in black cloaks, went to visit the Mystery Store to find out what “?” was up to this week!

As she entered the Mystery Store and opened her jaw to speak (which by the way is really difficult with no tongue), “?” took off with amazing speed towards his back rooms. Shocked (never thinking she would quite scare “?”), Sirius went over to the counter and picked up the images he had lying there, before hurrying off home.

Of course, since she was now home, you would expect it to all be smooth sailing wouldn’t you? Well not this time, with the town possessed by spirits, and mysterious happenings continuing.

Once Sirius got home, she put down the images so that she could kick her Bouncy Slimes. Unfortunately, being distracted, she had placed them next to her Haunted Broom. After kicking just two Bouncy Slimes, the Haunted Broom whisked the images up into the air! Sirius tried to catch them, but couldn’t grab them before they splashed into her Halloween Fishbowl with her Monsterfish!

Undeterred, she dragged out her Twig Rod, and started fishing for images. She eventually fished them all out (leaving her Monsterfish quite confused), can you work out what they might be?

A Grim Tale!

Hey Pet Society fans! The spookiness continues to haunt the town this week with a myriad of items to traumatise and transform – Halloween style! Sign on to Pet Society via Facebook now to delve into the darkness and discover what is in stores this week! Remember that any items labelled Halloween Special (HS) will be in store until midnight GMT on Monday the 2nd of November, 2009, but may be available again at some point in the future.

Beware! Death is coming to collect your pet’s soul! The Grim Reaper Doll has no plans to hide his intent, so take him into your home at your own risk. Or build a Death army to hopefully protect your pet from visiting zombies, vampires, witches, mummies, monsters and Frankensteins!

Who is Hideeni, and why is he here?

Hey Pet Society fans! There are strange, strange things occurring in the village, which you must be aware of!

Sirius was soaring around the town with her new Immortal Bat Wings trying to find “?”, when she spotted what she initially thought to be “?” in disguise (well it is Halloween), but upon swooping down in front of him to try and grab the pictures she assumed this pet would be carrying, she discovered that the pet wasn’t “?” at all…

Astoundingly, the pet introduced himself as Hideeni, and then congratulated her for finding him (she refrained from telling him that she wasn’t looking for him at all). While Sirius was still standing there, staring with awe and curiosity, Hideeni then offered a special gift to give to her friends, obviously this was too good to pass up, so Sirius excitedly let her friends know about this mysterious creature and his special gift, hoping that they all would accept it.

So who is Hideeni, and why is he here? Well for starters, so you know who you are looking for, meet Hideeni (please be aware his appearance may change):

You have the chance of finding him while playing, he could be anywhere: in your house, a friend’s house, just standing around the village, or even in a store!

If you are lucky enough to find him, simply click him and he will offer you the chance to share a rare gift with your friends! This occurs through your Facebook News Feed, and when your friends view the News Feed they can select to “Accept free gift” to receive the special gift!

Sign on to Pet Society via Facebook now to see if you can spot him! He is very hard to find though, so don’t be discouraged if you can’t, perhaps one of your friends will! Keep an eye on your News Feed! ;)

After all the commotion with Hideeni (who mysteriously disappeared right after speaking with her), Sirius was a bit unsure what to expect next, but while soaring through the town once more she spotted “?” rushing through the trees, images in paw.

She sprung into action, and dived down, and plucked the pictures from his paws before flying quickly away feeling fearless with her incredible new wings!

So here are the new mysterious items which are now hidden away in boxes! Sirius believes that they are all must-have items, plus they are available for a limited time only, so start hunting now!

Bat wings have been adorning many pets that have been drinking the Bat Wing Potion in the Mystery Store over the last week. Terrence takes the idea of wings a step further in the Cash Shop this week by introducing the Immortal Bat Wings! Not for the faint hearted, these wings will evolve over time, culminating in the most fearsome wings known to petkind.

Petrify all of your guests with the Creepy Tombstone and Luminous Cobweb in the Furniture Store. Preston also has the Bat Wall Sticker and Wrought Iron Witch Sign to bring some extra eeriness to your night sky. If you would prefer to ward off (instead of welcome) vampires who may be around town, ensure you hang a Garlic Wreath in your home! Plus, the new Witch Doll may look pretty sweet, but rumours are that she definitely has some frightening spells up her sleeve, which may, or may not, involve Luminous Skull Candles and Buckets.

When visiting the Luxury Store, watch out for zombies, as Felicity is now selling the Luminous Brain Jar, which every zombie will be wanting to taste! Pets that are planning to dress as vampires should ensure they also pay Felicity a visit for the ominous Dracula Bed. The Luxury Store isn’t completely terrifying though, with the Luminous Gothic Chandelier which will be a stunning addition to any room, whether belonging to a vampire, witch, knight or princess.

Stacked, read and dead all over!

Hey Pet Society fans! The village has been transformed, Halloween style! So sign on to Pet Society via Facebook now and step outside and bump the dead trees around town. If you’re lucky, maybe some Halloween candy will pop out! ;)

Of course “?” is right into Halloween, Sirius isn’t so sure, so she was a bit wary when stepping into the Mystery Store earlier to find out what “?” had in store. After whispered conversations, she left with chills running down her spine, and ran home to play with her Bouncy Slime (according to her the best part of Halloween). These are the clues “?” gave her, no wonder she was slightly scared:

Don’t rock the barge!

Hey Pet Society fans! The entire village has been rocking this week, with budding rock stars in nearly every home!

Some of the best musicians in town were playing their debut concert on a barge in the pond, so pets from everywhere assembled around the fish pond to try and get a glimpse of the stars, and rock the day away! Thousands of pets gathered, and when the band began, everyone was amazed!

Sirius though was seemingly distracted, she loved the music, but it was that time of week when she knew “?” may be returning to his Mystery Store with pictures of what he had ordered for the next bunch of mysterious items, so she hung towards the back of the crowd.

As dusk was falling, she noticed “?” making his way through the throngs of pets. She followed him through the crowd. When they were near the water’s edge, she snatched the pictures and dived into the pond.

She ended up swimming right under the barge, and only emerged on the other side of the pond, soaking wet, but clear of “?”. So she moved through the crowd (who seemed quite happy to part for a soaking wet pet), and then ran home.

Sirius tells me that she did think about the fact that the images would be damaged before diving into the pond; however with a pressing crowd in every other direction, apparently she had nowhere else to go. So here’s the water damaged images, see if you can work out what they might be:

Mysteries Rock!

Hey Pet Society fans! Stickers have been flying around the village between friends this week. So when Sirius visited the Mystery Store earlier, she decided to try and find out what “?” thought of all the fuss. Surprisingly, when she asked him if he’d received any stickers from friends, he shook his head. She then tried to ask him to be her friend, so that she could send him a sticker, but he declined, obviously not wanting Sirius (or anyone for that matter) to discover his true identity!

As that conversation was obviously going nowhere, Sirius started to enquire about the next release of mysterious items! As normal, he wasn’t saying too much, but he did mutter a couple of words about each:

  • Common condiment! (Blue Mystery Box)
  • Full volume! (Golden Mystery Box)
  • Rock art! (Golden Mystery Box)

These items are now available to be found in mystery boxes across Pet Society, so sign on via Facebook now to see what you can find!
