As you may have guessed from the title of this blog post, it is all about the Bastille Day next week!
From Wikipedia:
Bastille Day is the French national holiday which is celebrated on 14 July each year. In France, it is formally called La Fête Nationale (National Celebration) and commonly le quatorze juillet (the fourteenth of July). It commemorates the 1790 Fête de la Fédération, held on the first anniversary of the storming of the Bastille on 14 July 1789; the anniversary of the storming of the Bastille fortress-prison was seen as a symbol of the uprising of the modern nation, and of the reconciliation of all the French inside the constitutional monarchy which preceded the First Republic, during the French Revolution. Festivities are held on the morning of 14 July, on the Champs-Élysées avenue in Paris in front of the President of the Republic.
The parade opens with cadets from the École Polytechnique, Saint-Cyr, École Navale, and so forth, then other infantry troops, then motorized troops; aviation of the Patrouille de France flies above. In recent times, it has become customary to invite units from France’s allies to the parade; in 2004 during the centenary of the Entente Cordiale, British troops (the band of the Royal Marines, the Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment, Grenadier Guards and King’s Troop, Royal Horse Artillery) led the Bastille Day parade in Paris for the first time, with the Red Arrows flying overhead. In 2007 the German 26th Airborne Brigade led the march followed by British Royal Marines.
The president used to give an interview to members of the press, discussing the situation of the country, recent events and projects for the future. Nicolas Sarkozy, elected president in 2007, has chosen not to give it. The President also holds a garden party at the Palais de l’Elysée.
Article 17 of the Constitution of France gives the President the authority to pardon criminals, and since 1991 the President has pardoned many petty offenders (mainly traffic offences) on 14 July. In 2007, President Sarkozy declined to continue the practice.

I’m glad I can see the real Eiffel Tower from my window, that’ll save me the coins.
More to the point, uh, way to screw up the cakes. Nothing in there is typically French! The éclair should be either chocolate or coffee, shortcake isn’t French, millefeuille aren’t usually chocolate, and don’t get me started on the Christmas cake. *scratches head* Next time, try religieuses or Opéra cakes, that’ll be much more French, and much more classy.

It took the school children and adults by storm to an extent that they are taking care of their digital pet more than they are taking care of themselves. Keeping their pet happy, clean and not dying in between classes, work, lunch etc. I could still recall that some schools are actually banning it then.

I love the new stuff, but I’m a bit ticked off with the digging sites *sighs* I’ve spent LOADS AND LOADS trying to get the wings from the enchanted dig site, I do the mystery boxes every week and yes sometimes it takes a load of coins to get the newest ones but eventually I do get them and the most I’ve spent trying to get one is 52k but at the same time I got items I could sale back. So far trying to get those wings alone I’ve spent well over 100k and it’s just driving me nuts.
I’m not trying to cry over the amount I’ve spent, cause the amount doesn’t matter so much when I really want the item, but really, i’ve been digging everyday for weeks now and I’m wondering why in the world am I not getting it, is there some kind of glitch or something? *sighs*

Please help. I have been trying for 2 weeks now and haven’t been able to finish my Football Flag collection.
For the last 2 weeks, all flags have been either Uruguay, Germany, Holland or Spain.
Occasionally it has been the newly updated flags.
I am still missing Italy, Denmark but most important England!
I am scared that Playfish will remove this soon. Please please please help.
